5 sparkling cocktails for a #beBubble summer
Summer is coming. The perfect time to enjoy a refreshing cocktail! So here you have 5 recipes to give your drink a sparkling touch and make it totally #beBubble. Because life with bubbles tastes better!
French 75
Ingredients:
- 30 ml Lemon juice
- 50 ml Gin
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 leaves Mint
- 1 bottle of Mistinguett Brut
Preparation:
Add the lemon juice, gin and sugar together with ice into the shaker, shake well and strain into a flute glass. Fill the remaining glass with chilled cava. Place a couple of mint leaves on top as a decoration.
Blackberry Sparkling
Ingredients:
Blackberry Syrup:
- 1 cup Blackberries
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Water
Cocktail:
- 1/4 Blackberries
- 90 ml blackberry syrup
- 1 lime
- 1 bottle of Origen Brut Rosé
Preparation:
In a small saucepan add the blackberries, sugar and water, mix and then reduce at medium high heat until the mixture thickens. Strain the mixture with a strainer and let it cool.In a shaker, add the blackberries, the blackberry syrup and the juice of one lime. Mix well and add a few ice cubes. Shake to mix. Strain the mixture into a Pompadour glass and finish off the cocktail by adding cava until full.
Melon, mint & Cava
Ingredients:
- 1 Melon
- 60 ml melon juice
- 60 ml Lemon juice
- 6 branches of Fresh mint
- 1 bottle of Origen Brut Nature Reserva
Preparation:
Cut the melon in half and empty it with a spoon into small balls. Place a few melon balls in each glass along with 4-5 leaves of mint.Measure out 60 ml of melon juice per glass and add about 20 ml of lemon juice and a spoonful of brown sugar. Add an ice cube and mix well. Finally, serve the cava cold.
Sparkling Fruit Sangria
Ingredients:
- 1 Orange
- 1 Lemon
- 1 cup Blackberries
- 1 cup Raspberries
- 10 sliced strawberries
- 2 cups Orange juice
- 1 tbs Brown Sugar
- 1 bottle of Mistinguett Brut Rosé
Preparation:
Place all the fruits and orange juice in a jar, add the sugar and let it rest in the refrigerator for 3 or 4 hours.Just before serving add ice cubes to the jar and dig to keep the cold and bubbles.
Julep de cava
Ingredients:
- 1 lump of sugar
- A few drops of Angostura (bitters)
- 7 or 8 leaves of mint
- Crushed Ice
- 1 bottle of Origen Brut Reserva
Preparation:
In a julep glass put a lump of sugar, with a few drops of angostura and a tip of cava. Crush the lump into a homogeneous mass.Add 7 or 8 mint leaves to the mixture and mix gently. Fill the glass with crushed ice and add cava to the surface.
