Once again this year, the prestigious Berliner Wein Trophy competition which, in its last edition, crowned Vallformosa as the Best Sparkling Wine Producer in Spain, has recognised the quality of our products by awarding up to 8 gold medals to the wines and cavas produced by our winery.

Specifically, the maximum recognition of this competition of wines and sparkling wines from all over the world has been for 3 whites and 5 sparkling wines that we present to you below.

3 golden white wines

The 3 Vallformosa wines that have won a gold medal are white wines. Specifically, Cultivare 100% Xarel-lo, a premium wine, limited edition, very sophisticated and designed for the most sybarites.

Freyé Parellada / Muscat is one of our best-selling and most appreciated white wines, accumulating gold medals and followers wherever it goes, thanks to its freshness and lightness.

Last but not least, Mas La Roca, a white wine with a smooth and fine entry that is a hymn to the Mediterranean.

The 5 golden sparkling wines
Vallformosa, with its centuries-old know-how and love for the land, produces high quality cava, the fruit of organic farming, 100% vegan (which is not always the case with other producers) and absolutely fine and elegant.

Proof of this excellence are the awards that, year after year, our cava accumulates, which has come to be placed among the 10 best sparkling wines in the world (a milestone that, until recently, was reserved exclusively for champagne).

The Berliner Wein Trophy has once again demonstrated the outstanding quality of our products with 5 gold medals for our cava. Specifically, Vallformosa Col-lecció, which you can order in your supermarket or shop, has won 2 medals for the rosé Pinot Noir and the Reserva Brut Nature.

A third medal went to Vallformosa with Origen Brut Reserva, a clean and fruity cava with light ageing notes and a persistent aftertaste.

The fourth medal went to another of the brand's bestsellers: Mistinguett de Vallformosa Brut Reserva, a sparkling wine with aromas of white fruit mixed with subtle notes of pastry.

Finally, MVSA Brut Reserva has won the fifth gold medal for Vallformosa sparkling wines which, together with the 3 wine medals, has won 8 gold medals in this new edition of the Berliner Wein Trophy. Let's toast to all the successes!
