The Christmas holidays are a time for gathering and celebration, but also for introspection and stocktaking as the year draws to a close. At Vallformosa we look back over what 2022 has been and represented for our winery and we can only feel proud: this has been a year of growth and recognition, with major milestones, awards and medals of international prestige that continue to validate our commitment to excellence and motivate us to do even better in 2023.

Best Sparkling Wine Producer in Spain and Best Winery of the Year 2022, 2021 and 2020.

We started the year strongly by winning 7 gold medals at the international benchmark competition Berliner Wine Trophy 2022, which also named us Spain's Best Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year.

To this title we must add, for the third consecutive year, the title of Best Winery of 2022 in the Vinari awards, which included 8 wines and sparkling wines from Vallformosa in its list of winners.

Recognition for new formats

2022 will also be the year of recognition for innovation and Vallformosa's commitment to new formats, such as the I'MPERFECT canned wine and sparkling wine or the increasingly accepted and demanded non-alcoholic sparkling wine.

In this sense, Vallformosa 0.0% has managed to win over the public and obtain the popular endorsement with the People's Choice Wine Awards in the Mindful Drinking category. This non-alcoholic sparkling wine that captivates from the first sip has also won its first medals, including a bronze medal at the International Wine Challenge.

For its part, I'MPERFECT has managed to make its place among the 50 Great Canned Wines of the World 2023 with a silver medal for each of the 3 references: red wine, sparkling wine and 0.0%, so we are convinced that next year will be full of success for this canned wine and will once again be a golden year for Vallformosa at your side.
