6 medals and a double gold for Vallformosa at the 10th Sakura Awards
The Sakura Awards are one of the most important events in Asia's wine industry, especially this year that the Japan Women's Awards celebrated its 10th edition, consolidating their importance and position in the sector.
In a similar way, Vallformosa has reaffirmed its position as one of the country's favorite wineries, collecting up to 6 medals, with a Double Gold and 3 gold medals, in addition to 2 silvers.
Among a record participation, which has exceeded 4.500 references presented from 25 different countries around the world, Vallformosa still wine Masia Freyé Parellada/Muscat, which had already won a gold medal in the previous edition, has been awarded with the highest distinction: a Double Gold medal.
The jury made up of 430 professional women of Japan's wine industry also decided, in a blind tasting, to award 3 gold medals for the rosé cava Vallformosa Origen Rosé, as well as the cava Vallformosa Col·lecció Brut Reserva and the cava MVSA Semi Seco.
To complete the list of winners, there's 2 silver medals for the cava Vallformosa Origen Brut Reserva and Mistinguett Brut Nature.
